Director Myles Wittingham's concept for Suspect's Reload music video called for 16-bit retro video game animation sequences woven through the live-action footage turning the track's London street narrative into a pixelated shootout game aesthetic.
Designed the 16-bit visual world from scratch, pixel scale, colour palette, movement logic. Then animated two key game sequences (street arrival and block shootout) for intercut with the live footage. Built to feel like a real game environment.
Released on GRM Daily the UK's leading grime and urban music platform. Millions of subscribers. Full 16-bit game world designed and animated. 127,000 views.
