BRIEF

Trojan Records commissioned an anniversary animation to mark 50 years since Double Barrel became their first ever UK No.1 single on 1 May 1971.

APPROACH

Developed an animation concept honouring the track's reggae roots and its place in British chart history motion, typography, and visual language calibrated for Trojan's brand aesthetic and a 2021 social and YouTube audience.

1.1 million views. 50th anniversary of Trojan Records' first UK No.1. Released on Trojan's YouTube and social channels to a global reggae audience.
